Duplex Globe Valve
Description & Features
Duplex globe valve is an excellent valve to use for shut-off service and shall be installed in the proper direction as flow arrow marked in the body. Unless other specific, globe valve shall be used for uni-directional seal.
The microstructure of the duplex stainless steel valve consists of a mixture of an austenitic phase and a ferrite phase. Therefore, the duplex steel has both austenitic and ferritic stainless steel's properties.
Duplex stainless steels have a stronger resistance to corrosion than the commonly used grades of stainless steel valves, namely 304 valves and 316 valves. Duplex stainless steel valves are widely used in various industries such as the chemical industry, seawater desalination, shipbuilding, petrochemical industry, oil, and gas industry.

● Only one sealing face exists on the valve body and disc.
● For large size valves will be designed with main disc and vice disc type,
● Medium flow from up disc to down disc.
● The valve is designed as a back seat sealing structure.
● Use flexible and woven graphite collaboration type packing.
